Refund policy

1. Overview

At Savvy Trap, we stand behind the quality of our products. This policy explains when items may be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

2. Return Eligibility

Note: Due to the nature of the live trap, the Savvy Trap Pro is non-returnable.

Surveillance kits may be returned if:

  • Requested within 30 days of delivery
  • Unused and in original condition
  • Returned with all original components and packaging

We may deny returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Savvy Trap Pro
  • Used, modified, or customer-damaged products
  • Digital items, including trap plans

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos or documentation

We may replace the item or issue a full refund.

5. Return Process

  1. Email info@savvytrap.com with your order number
  2. Wait for return approval and instructions
  3. Ship the item to the provided return address

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • Trackable shipping is recommended
  • Savvy Trap is not responsible for lost return shipments

7. Refunds

After inspection, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within approximately 5–10 business days.

8. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply to items returned damaged, incomplete, or missing original packaging/components.

9. Exchanges

We replace items only if defective or damaged. Contact info@savvytrap.com for exchange requests.

10. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours if not yet shipped
  • Shipped orders must follow the return process

11. Product Use Disclaimer

  • Returns may be denied if products show signs of animal use
  • Returned products must be unused

This policy is necessary for hygiene, safety, and liability reasons.

12. Chargebacks and Disputes

Please contact Savvy Trap directly before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.
